All Cherished Time Designs Charms are Fine Quality .925 Sterling Silver. They come with a Split Ring (not a Jump Ring) which is the most secure method of attaching Charms. A Split Ring looks like a tiny key ring and will not come open. Jump Rings do come open and result in loss. The Measurement noted above is the Charm Measurement before addition of a Split Ring.
